Terms and Conditions

Last updated: August 9, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and LOOP Interactive, trading as Memoo ("Memoo", "we", "us"). They apply to the Memoo app, memoo.app, and related services (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to them.

1. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 13, and old enough to consent to using the Service under the law where you live. If you are not, a parent or guardian must consent. Keep your login secure and provide accurate account information. You are responsible for activity under your account.

Memoo may let you start as a guest using an anonymous, cloud-backed identifier. Guest access is tied to the current installation and is not guaranteed to be recoverable if you delete the app, clear its data, or lose the device. You can protect your progress by linking Apple, Google, Microsoft, or email and password. When you sign in to an existing account, you authorize Memoo to merge eligible guest decks and study data into it.

2. The Service

Memoo lets you create, study, generate, share, publish, and import learning decks. Features may change as we improve the Service. You may use the Service only lawfully and in accordance with these terms.

3. Subscriptions and purchases

Paid features are billed through the applicable app store. Prices, renewal terms, trials, cancellation, and refunds are shown before purchase and are also governed by that store's terms. Manage or cancel a subscription through your app-store account.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of content you create. You give Memoo a limited licence to host, copy, process, format, and display it only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the Service and to provide the sharing choices you select.

Do not upload content you do not have the right to use, or content that is illegal, fraudulent, abusive, hateful, sexually exploitative, privacy-invasive, or harmful. Do not attempt to disrupt the Service or evade moderation.

5. Community publishing

Anyone with the link. Memoo creates a snapshot accessible to people who have its link. It is excluded from catalog discovery and search-engine indexing. You may rotate or disable the link. Deleting its source deck disables this shared snapshot.

Public. Memoo creates a snapshot and submits it for moderation. If approved, it may appear in Memoo discovery and on a publicly searchable, indexable web page. Later edits to your private source deck are not public until you publish a new version.

When you share or publish, you confirm that you have the rights needed to do so. You grant Memoo a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, copy, display, distribute, technically adapt, index, and moderate that snapshot for the purpose of operating and promoting the Memoo catalog. You may end this licence for the catalog listing by unpublishing it or deleting your account.

If you delete only the private source deck, its approved public snapshot may remain available in your account until you unpublish it. Deleting your account removes your catalog listings and disables their Memoo links. A copy imported before unpublishing or deletion is an independent copy controlled by the importing user and cannot be recalled by the original creator.

6. Moderation and safety

We may use automated checks and human review. We may reject, restrict, remove, or preserve evidence of content or accounts when reasonably necessary to enforce these terms, protect users, or comply with law. Users can report decks and block creators. Contact support@memoo.app if you believe a decision is wrong or your rights are being infringed.

7. Our intellectual property

The Service, software, branding, and official Memoo content are owned by us or our licensors. These terms do not transfer those rights to you. You may not copy, reverse engineer, sell, or misuse them except where applicable law permits.

8. Account deletion and termination

You can request account deletion in the app. Deleting your Memoo account does not cancel a subscription billed by Apple; you must manage or cancel it separately through your App Store subscription settings. We may suspend or terminate access for material or repeated violations, security risks, or legal requirements. Sections that by their nature should survive termination remain effective, including rights relating to independent imported copies and legal claims.

9. Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided on an "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that community or AI-generated content is complete, accurate, or suitable for a particular purpose. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the Service.

10. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms. We will post the updated date and, where a change materially affects your rights, provide reasonable notice or ask you to accept it. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without limiting any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live.
